“One more” (DJ Khaled voice!) Roommates always expect the unexpected when DJ Khaled drops a new album. When he’s in album mode we know he’s going to give us some of the best in the business, from rappers to singers, as you call it, he has them in his arsenal. He sparked the anticipation of his new album “Khaled Khaled” on Instagram by showing pictures and videos of the artist he is working with and even sharing personal messages from other producers like Timbaland, which you can check out below.
Tonight, all of his hard work paid off as it quickly became a trending topic on Twitter after the album launched as fans chatted about some of their favorite songs. One of them came from none other than hip-hop icons Nas and JayZ. After finishing their longtime beef, it’s been a while since we’ve heard a track from the two of them. The last time was in 2018 on the song “Regulate” from Nas’ album “Nasir”. Nas and Jay Z hopped on the track for “Sorry Not Sorry,” which also features James Fauntleroy and Harmonies by the Hive.
Not only did fans hear the song, but they could also watch the music video for the song, which was staged by the only hype, Williams. Whenever there’s hype behind the camera, you already know the graphics won’t disappoint! “Sorry, not sorry” has only been out an hour and already has over 100,000 views on YouTube.
It’s not the only track people are talking about on the album. Cardi B was also trending when she went live on Instagram last night talking about the writing process for the song “Big Paper”. Cardi announced that she wrote her lyrics independently and did not use her writing team.
Roomies, what do you think of the album so far?
