Earlier this month, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey was a very illuminating interview as they discussed what they went through before leaving the royal family. Now it looks like her exit will be covered in an upcoming Lifetime movie.
According to Deadline, the network has “Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace” lit green, a follow-up film in their royal series. The first film released was “Harry & Meghan” in 2019 and the network followed suit with the first sequel, “Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal” in 2019.
The casting for the film is currently underway and production is slated to begin in the spring. The film is expected to premiere at the end of this year. According to Lifetime, the film will reveal everything that happened at the palace, which eventually led Harry and Meghan to split from the royal family.
Lifetime went on to state that the film said “Meghan’s growing isolation and sadness, her disappointment that ‘The Firm’ wasn’t defending her against press attacks, and Harry’s fear that history would repeat itself and he might not protect his wife, we will describe in detail son from the same forces that caused his mother’s untimely death. “

As we previously reported, one of the most shocking revelations from Harry and Meghan’s interview is that they claimed someone from the royal family had voiced their concern about how dark their son’s skin would be before he was born. It wasn’t made clear exactly who was expressing their concern, but Harry made it clear that it was neither his grandmother nor his grandfather.
